Help us win a $20,000 Grant!!!

Petfinder.com is hosting another Shelter Challenge!  You can help FMAS win much needed monies to help support our shelter.  All you need to do is visit The Animal Rescue Site each day, click to send free food to animal shelters and then VOTE for your favorite shelter (type in "Manchester Animal Shelter")  Once you click the purple button at the link below you will see a red VOTE button at the top of the page-click on it to vote in the shelter challenge.

You can even set up daily reminders for this 2 minute task!  Remember, the most votes per shelter wins, and each state will have a winner--let's make sure that this time it is FMAS for NH!  Thank you for your daily participation!

COME VISIT US

Our shelter is located in beautiful Manchester, New Hampshire, just minutes from highway 293. The shelter is wholly operated by the Friends of the Manchester Animal Shelter (FMAS), a non-profit organization comprised almost entirely of volunteers.

The shelter serves the community by taking in stray and homeless animals, providing them with medical treatment, food, and shelter, and then making them available for adoption to the general public. The process is never ending as each year nearly 1,000 cats and 300+ dogs find their way to our door.

The shelter boasts an in-house spay/neuter program, assuring that every animal that passes through will no longer contribute to the city's pet overpopulation problem. We are especially proud that the animals at our shelter are not needlessly euthanized. We have learned that there is a loving home waiting for every animal, even the old ones... sometimes it just takes awhile to find it.

As a non-profit facility, the shelter is dependent on volunteers and donations from the public for its survival. If you love animals and share our vision of a truly humane animal shelter, we hope you will support our cause. Please accept this invitation to get involved. There are so many different ways you can help!

URGENT!! URGENT!!
Donations are considerably lower than normal. Obviously, the poor economy and bleak financial outlook are the cause of this. Please remember that FMAS runs almost entirely on your donations! Without you, the public, none of our precious animals would be saved. Please consider donating today!
